If you’ve ever dreamed of running your own business, then this is the class for you.  Students in this course will be introduced to basic business principles including: accounting, marketing, finance, and management.  Throughout the semester students will create a marketing campaign, complete a business income statement, design a social media promotion strategy, balance a checkbook, and complete a stock market simulation.  Practical skills will be developed through the completion of job applications, personal finance lessons, and cash register training. Guest speakers and Shark Tank episodes will expose students to real business scenarios that fuel lively discussions.
